Raphaël
Raphael was born in Bordeaux and grew up outside of Paris, near Versailles. He founded Pyramid French lessons after working for many language schools in London and online over the last 15 years where he taught over 3000 hours.
Raphael believes that a friendly, fun and relaxed atmosphere combined with our bespoke immersive method will get you speaking fluently in no time. Raphael is also an artist & a musician and has built hundreds of happy connections around the world through teaching French and music.

Mélanie
Mélanie grew up in Toulouse, south of France and started tutoring children and adults 20 years ago, when living in Vienna, Austria.
She is fluent in three languages and she knows very well what a great, yet intimidating and sometimes frustrating process learning a foreign language can be.
Mélanie has taught French in London for over 10 years and developped a fun, but also rigorous and efficient method. Mélanie is also a trained actress and performs in Austria, France and the UK.

Gilles was born in Bogotá, Colombia, and grew up near Paris, not far from the Palace of Versailles.
He later studied Cinema and Theatre at University and has lived in London for over 10 years.
Since arriving in London, Gilles has taught private French lessons, helping students build confidence in conversation while discovering French culture
A trained actor, Gilles has performed on stage and in film in both French and English. His acting background brings energy, creativity, and confidence.
Chloé
Teacher
Chloé grew up in Paris and lived in Montreal for five years before moving to London over 15 years ago to study art. Fluent in both French and English, she understands the challenges and rewards of learning and living in another language. Alongside her international career as a writer and radio producer, she has spent more than a decade working in French translation and proofreading for leading video streaming platforms. Chloe also mentors international master's students in audio storytelling and has led creative workshops in arts and education across the UK. Her lessons are engaging, supportive and tailored to help students build confidence, develop fluency and communicate naturally in French.
Ilan
Teacher
Ilan is a native Parisian French speaker, as well as a professional actor, singer and language coach based between London and Paris. His work as an actor has taken him to productions including Netflix, the BBC and the Royal Shakespeare Company, giving him a deep understanding of language, pronunciation, expression and the importance of communicating with confidence. Ilan’s lessons are dynamic, friendly and tailored to each student’s needs. He helps students improve naturally through conversation, practical exercises and authentic French. With a relaxed and encouraging approach, Llan adapts every lesson to your level and interests, helping you feel comfortable speaking French from day one.
