Applicable Law and Jurisdiction These Terms and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with your purchase of online French lessons from Pyramid French Lessons shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. 1.2. Lesson Refunds We offer a 7-day refund policy for our French lessons. If you are not satisfied with your purchase, you may request a refund within 7 days from the date of purchase. Refunds within this period will be processed without any charges or fees. 1.3. Lesson Cancellations and Rescheduling You may cancel or reschedule a lesson up to 24 hours before the scheduled time without incurring any charges. To cancel or reschedule, please email bonjour@pyramidfrenchlessons.com 1.4. No Show and Late Cancellation Policy We understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise. We offer three (3) instances of no-shows or late cancellations free of charge, without affecting your purchased lesson credits. However, after the third instance, your lesson credit from the purchased package will be deducted for each subsequent no-show or late cancellation. 1.5. Late Arrival Policy We value punctuality and respect your time. In the event of late arrival, the teacher will wait for up to 10 minutes from the scheduled lesson start time. If no warning has been issued regarding lateness within this period, the class will be canceled. Each customer is entitled to three (3) late arrivals per purchased lesson package, as outlined in section 1.4. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in adhering to our policies to ensure smooth lesson scheduling and delivery. 2. Lesson Packages 2.1. Lesson Credits The purchase of a lesson package grants you a certain number of lesson credits. Lesson credits are valid for a specified period, as indicated at the time of purchase. 2.2. Lesson Credit Expiry Lesson credits must be used within the specified validity period of one year. Unused lesson credits will expire and become invalid after the expiry date. We will not be responsible for any expired lesson credits. 3. Monthly Membership 3.1. Lesson Allocation By subscribing to our monthly membership, you will receive a set number of French lessons per month as specified in your chosen membership plan. The lessons will be provided according to the schedule agreed upon during the subscription process. 3.2. Lesson Scheduling Lessons under the monthly membership can be scheduled through the calendar page. 3.3. Membership Cancellation If you wish to cancel your monthly membership, you must provide a written cancellation notice by email to bonjour@pyramidfrenchlessons.com at least 7 days before the next billing cycle. No refunds will be provided for the remaining lessons in the current billing cycle upon cancellation. 3.4. Unused Lesson Policy Non-Refundable and Non-Transferable: Lessons allocated each month under your chosen subscription plan (4, 8, or 12 lessons) are designed for that specific billing cycle. They are non-refundable and cannot be transferred to the subsequent monthly billing cycle. We encourage you to book all allocated lessons within the current month to fully benefit from your subscription. This stresses the need to use your monthly lessons within the billing cycle, following a "use it or lose it" rule. 3.5. Freezing Memberships Temporary Suspension If circumstances require a pause in your French lessons, you have the option to freeze your membership. Memberships can be temporarily suspended for a minimum period of 1 month and a maximum of 3 consecutive months. During this frozen period, no new lessons will be allocated, and billing will be temporarily halted. To request a freeze, please send an email to bonjour@pyramidfrenchlessons.com at least 7 days before the intended freeze start date. Any ongoing freeze beyond the maximum of 3 months will result in the automatic resumption of regular billing and lesson allocation. 4. Group classes 4.1. No refund will be given if an in-person class needs to be temporarily moved online due to exceptional circumstances outside of Pyramid French Lessons' control, such as pandemics or natural disasters. 4.2. Service Policies We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone who is disruptive or who causes any kind of safety concern to our students or staff. 4.3 Enrolment and Refund Policies Enrolment in group lessons provides one 1-hour, in-person session each week for six consecutive weeks. Class transfer or cancellation/refund requests must be made at least 7 days prior to your class start date. After this date, refunds cannot be given under any circumstances. A prorated credit will be calculated and issued in accordance with the number of lessons that have passed at the time that we are informed of any scheduling conflicts. This credit will be valid for six months from your original course start date. No exception will be made for incorrect level placement. Students are encouraged to determine their level accurately before signing up. In the event of low enrolment in a group class (less than 3 people in a 8 people class), we reserve the right to cancel, postpone, combine groups, or shorten the duration of the class as deemed necessary. Students will have the option to transfer their credit to a different class or receive a refund if the new dates do not fit their schedule. We reserve the right to change the assigned teacher for a class at any time. 4.4. Online Make-up 30-minute sessions In the event of a missed class, group or private online make-up sessions are available. These sessions must be scheduled and used within the same calendar week as the missed class, arranged through our booking calendar via our website. 4.5.
